About Me

My name is Charlotte Parr (aka dottylotti) and I'm a seventeen-year-old aspiring young adult writer from the sunny land of England where I live with my mum, my little sister and our neurotic cat.

I've been reading books like there is no tomorrow since before I can remember and I've been writing for just as long.  But it wasn't until last year that I actually began to think I was any good.  Now you'll usually find me with a pen and paper in hand, tapping away at my laptop or with my nose stuck in a book.  My secret insomnia means that I'll be working away until the early hours of the morning on my latest project and then wake up the next morning looking like I've been dragged to hell and back.

I'm a bit of a fact geek and can churn out many historical facts from various periods of history from the Russian Revolution to the Wars of the Roses to the political climate in 19th century England.

I'm also an aspiring musician, a singer, flautist and pianist.  I've also tried to teach myself the guitar, but I'm currently failing miserably!
